Riding the wave of the extraordinary success of their recent ‘Journey of the Palate’ Food and Wine Weekend, Cicada Lodge is excited to announce a partnership with Jeremy Oliver. 

It seems appropriate that the award-winning Luxury Lodge joins forces with an award-winning Wine Commentator to ensure food and wine pairings of the highest standard going forward.

Jeremy has been one of Australia’s leading wine critics and presenters over the last 30 years.  The author of 29 books, including The Australian Wine Annual, Jeremy is fully independent with no exclusive ties to any media outlet, publishing house or wine producer. Quality driven, Jeremy agreed to the partnership only after hosting the inaugural event and experiencing firsthand what the F+B team at Cicada Lodge are capable of.

“We could see that Jeremy’s wine pairings and personality added to our ‘Journey of the Palate’ in April. We were confident he was impressed with what we created, so we invited him to pair wines for our menus and return to host our next event planned to October 2018. We were very pleased when Jeremy accepted. The details of Cicada Lodge next gastronomical journey will be announced soon. Based on the previous event, those interested in attending had better be quick, as the event is likely to sell out fast. A key point of difference in the events at Cicada Lodge are the careful incorporation of native ingredients into classic cuisine, which adds a layer of detail to the wine and food pairings.
