There are a lot of attractions that come to mind when someone thinks of Seoul; Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namdaemun Market, N Seoul Tower and Jongmyo Shrine to name a few. However, for those who don’t know much about this special place already, there is another spot that is worth visiting. Close to City Hall and Myeongdong resides the Korea Tourism Organization’s K-Style Hub.
For anyone who wants to learn and experience Korean culture the K-Style Hub is a gem. There are four floors that visitors can walk around and each having their own unique focus. Better yet, entry into the K-Style Hub is free and so is a majority of their programs.
So, what does each floor have to offer you?
The Tourist Information Center on level 2 is where you need to go if you are looking for information on tourist attractions, maps of different areas and or have questions which staff are ready and willing to help. You can also organize train tickets, metro cards, wi-fi and many more services at the Travel Service Counter.

Also, on this floor is the K-Star Zone where you can copy popular K-Pop stars BIGBANG, 2NE1, PSY and more’s poses whilst taking a picture with them. Not too far is the Medical Tourism Information Centre where you can learn all about your health, test your stress, facial analysis and even find out what kind of tea is right for you.
Other activities you can find on level 2 include the 360-degree panorama gallery where through integrated contents using drone technology you can travel to at least 40 of Korea’s famous tourist attractions. If tired from all of that traveling you can have a seat in the Travel Café and enjoy a warm cup of tea.
Going up to level 3 you have the ‘Seasonal Divisions and Customs’ section of Korea’s culinary traditional history. You can see Korea’s culinary past, present and future with displays of fermentation, seasonal ingredients and the impact of fusion.
Level 4 is where you get to have fun and show off your cooking skills. In each corner there is a new way that guests can interact with Korean food. In the Korean Food Experience Zone, you can TASTE traditional and or modern dishes, DRINK tea, liquor or a nice cocktail and REST when your stomach is full. Make a reservation and learn to cook at the Korean Food Learning Center or find recipes at the ‘Sarangbang’.

Finally, on level 5, is the Cultural Experience Exhibition Hall. When visiting this floor, you can take part in various different activities for free and take home unique souvenirs about your experience. Try on a hanbok fit for a queen or king or try your hand at making your own arts and crafts. Some of these include: making a folding fan, a traditional ornamental hairpin and making a traditional Korean lantern.
With so many things to learn, try and take home the K-Style Hub has something for everyone.
